Amri Studio offers a full-service approach to project completion from consultation and initial design through fabrication, lighting, crating, shipping and installation. In the last several years Christina Wallach, our founding principal and lead designer, has been increasingly hired in a consulting capacity by architects and designers, especially for projects involving Donor Recognition Systems and Art Glass to be installed in public spaces.

Christina Wallach and her skilled team are available to consult on all aspects of project design and fabrication, including special framing, lighting, color, and installation requirements. We specialize in consultation for interior-space planning for Donor Recognition and Corporate Signage.

Christina travels widely to consult with development officers of large institutions who are responsible for Donor Recognition Systems for their facility. She reviews the space planning to suggest the most effective and powerful locations for Donor Recognition artwork, coordinated signage directories, and dedication plaques.

Initial consultation often takes place by telephone. Informational materials and samples are exchanged and a dialogue begins. We help create a consultation budget, then charge a daily consultation rate plus expenses while we act as a supporting member of the design/planning and fabrication team.

Amri Studio can design directly for our clients or work in collaboration with the client's architects or designers. We provide small and full-scale fabrication drawings as well as one or more 10" x 10" actual glass prototypes for your review and approval.

We specialize in careful and innovative graphic design created specifically for the luminous, transparent qualities of glass. Our goal is to bring our graphic layout work to a fine art level. For example, we were the first glass and crystal artists to do the deep V-carving traditionally seen only in the finely chiseled letters of classic stone monuments. When letters carved in glass with this technique are lit with ambient or additional lighting, they appear holographic and read superbly from a good distance away.

Amri Studio recommends and provides material for each Corporate Signage or Art Glass application. Standard annealed plate glass (greenish) or crystal (white) are precisely cut and polished to critical dimensions for each project. Custom safety laminates and unusual template shapes are also created where optimal.

The classic "real" feel and appearance of polished glass is enhanced by backing it with materials such as, brick, granite, wood, stone, accent fabrics, or photo artwork. Additionally, the infinite design possibilities that we can carve into its surface for artistic interest, and the very readable V-cut monument style lettering make glass a beautiful design choice.

We are an architectural art glass company, trained in France, and known for our extremely high-quality work and large-scale installations throughout the United States and internationally. The Amri Studio has been creating elegant art glass plus corporate and institutional installations for over 25 years and specializing in Donor Recognition for the last 15 years.

We have a highly skilled team of glass, cabinetry and installation specialists, several of whom have been with Amri Studio for more than a decade. Our full-service staff handles all aspects of concept design, graphic layout, production, engineering, framing and final installation.

Small custom projects can often be completed in 4-6 weeks. Larger, more involved projects usually take 8-16 weeks for fabrication after our full-scale design has been approved by the client.

We work closely with you or your in-house staff and facilities managers to coordinate all aspects of scheduling, preparation, and installation of your piece for optimal safety and accuracy.

While Amri Studio specializes in glass and stone, special framing and fiber-optic, neon, and other light systems, we have a wide network of resources and specialists in related fields, such as lighting, framing, exhibition and display design, manufacturing, and Healing Environment design and consultation.

We have a team of traveling installation experts who handle all aspects of the installation. If you prefer, we can provide your facilities staff with templates, mounting hardware and complete instructions for do-it-yourself installation.

Installation by Wallach Studio is charged per labor hour plus expenses such as air travel, ground travel, accommodations, and meals.
