Note: We can work directly with you or collaborate with your architects or designers.
| What You Do | What Amri Studio Does |
| Step 1 |
You contact us and give us a general description of your Donor Recognition project. If you like, members of your organization can visit our studio to learn more about us and the processes we use. These visits are welcome at any time during the project.
We give you a list of the details we will need to create a concept and budget for your project. We will suggest that you create a title for the Donor Wall and an appreciation statement for the donors who will be honored. We can help suggest these and show you what other clients have done. We ask you to decide how many levels of gift-giving you want to recognize, and whether you are doing a closed campaign or an ongoing campaign (if the latter, we will make sure your Wall is updateable). We also provide you with photos and samples of Donor Recognition Systems we have completed for institutions similar to yours.
| Step 2 |
You provide us with photos and plans of the proposed location of your Donor Recognition Wall, the number of names and gift-giving categories you will be using, any additional text you want incorporated into your Wall, your budget and as much informational material as possible about your institution. This should include background on your organization's history, its values, the people it serves, and its vision for the future. This is a good time to discuss your target date for your Dedication Ceremony.
If possible, we make a visit to view your site and meet the key players both in your Donor Recognition project and in the institution itself. If not, we will rely on the materials you provide and our phone conversations with you. We create a budget, a payment schedule, and a calendar for working with you that includes a schedule of what we will provide when (such as small-scale and large-scale drawings, prototypes or samples), completion points, and a schedule for what we need from you and when (such as written materials-content-and approvals).
| Step 3 |
You send us a design retainer. This fee is non-refundable but is deducted from the overall contract costs once fabrication begins. You also send us the all the spell-checked names and copy (such as history, inspirational quotes, and so on) for the Donor Wall.
We create a detailed concept design for your Donor Recognition Wall and provide one or two small-scale schematic drawings for your approval. (We can mount these drawings for you to use for display and campaign purposes at your site.) If changes are required based on something we have done, there is no charge. This holds true for the remainder of the project.
| Step 4 |
You approve the small-scale drawings.
We create full-scale artwork for your project, which includes a final graphic layout of all your names and copy, plus details on lighting, framing, and mounting.
| Step 5 |
You approve the full-scale artwork.
We turn the full-scale drawings into a fabrication template for etching and carving the glass or crystal panels that will comprise your Donor Wall. At this point, we generally require 16 weeks for fabrication. We can also provide you with a 10" x 10" glass prototype section of your wall for your review, if you require it.
| Step 6 |
You create elegant adjunct brochures and invitations for your campaign or dedication ceremonies.
We consult and assist you in the development of these materials. Click here for details.
| Step 7 |
We complete fabrication and ship you the completed glass or crystal panels in custom, compression foam-lined crates. Shipping is FOB Santa Rosa, CA, arranged by us and billed directly to you.
| Step 8 |
Our expert installers visit your site to install your Donor Recognition Wall. Installation is charged per labor hour plus expenses such as air travel, ground travel, accommodations, and meals. If you prefer to install the panels yourself, we will provide a full-scale mounting template, instructions, and hardware.

| Step 9 |
You hold your gala dedication ceremony!
