Art glass wall at the 1st Hawaiian Bank National Headquarters, designed by Amri Studio in collaboration with Gensler Architects. Art glass connoisseur and President of the American Bankers Association and 1st Hawaiian Bank asked WGS to create a stunning and magnificent display of 56 unique and detailed Hawaiian botanical carved glass compositions. The finished panels are arranged in a massive grid on a curved wall measuring 15 x 40 feet. WGS engineered the machined-steel cube brackets that hold the 2 x 2 foot crystal panels and feed in over a half mile of fiber-optic cable to edge-light the bas relief art work. This is the focal art backdrop for the private Bankers Club in the 1st Hawaiian Bank National Headquarters in Honolulu.
One of 56 different designs that forms the art glass wall at 1st Hawaiian Bank National Headquarters. The exquisite petals, leaves and textures are flawlessly carved, forming an amazingly three-dimensional view of Hawaii's famous and endangered species. Call WGS for a video showing the design and fabrication process of this art glass wall.
